Harvester Artist Lofts, Council Bluffs

 Harvester Artist Lofts is on Main Street in Council Bluffs.  I noticed the art pieces outside so stopped by to check it out.

playground behind.  The loft is a place for families of artists to live.

Saulés Takas Lithuanian Sculpture Garden at Lauritzen Gardens

This is a sculpture garden off of the main path in Lauritzen Garden.  It honors Omaha's Lithuanian sister city Šiauliai.  The sculptures were carved by Saulés Takas.  They represent Lithuanian culture and stories.  The intricate plants and animals carved into the seats is very good, at the story of Jūraté and Kastytis is fascinating; a woodman and a sea goddess fall in love.
