There is some interesting art at the Elkart History Museum, from Native American portraits to artwork of negotiations with the White forces, to portraits of the Civil War. There is also stained glass and other decorative art.

There are twelve murals on the south side of the Winter Quarters Temple with historical themes. They were created by Tom Holdman.

In the lobby thee is a very nice Chihuly glass f balloons. I understand they have another piece which is currently on loan elsewhere. Also there is a neat stained glass in an upstairs sitting area.
There are 12 window murals in the south window of the temple. They are each teaching a lesson about the immigration. I was able to find nine pictures of the 12 on line. The are much prettier in person with the light shining through them. Some almost look like rainbows in the clouds.

Winter Quarters temple has some beautiful stained glass. These pictures are viewing from the outside. They are even nicer from the inside.
If anything the Dowd chapel is a ork of art, with many expressions of art within. The stained glass windows represent Jesus or Mary. There are also statues. The mood in the tomb are set apart by the color of light coming through the stained glass. The organ loft is incredible.
