June of 1984 Boyd and Jonathan came to Duckwater for a couple weeks. It was an adventure. We almost didn't get them there. I was playing with the boys in a passenger seat, a car version of hand game. I don't know if I was hiding a penny or what. Sheri was driving. Sheri became too interested in the game, and the next thing we knew, we were in the berm. We were going very fast. Sheri over corrected, and then we were going down the high way sideways. I don't know how we didn't roll. As it was, the two tires on the passenger side went flat. We were in the west dessert, west of Delta. We got the tires off, leaving the spare one one, and the jack on the other. A truck driver gave us a ride back to town, and someone was able to reseal the tires. We then got another ride going back to the car, and made it home.
